The CN Tower Edge walk is the world’s highest full-circle, hands-free walk, and the first of its kind in North America. Participants walk all the way around the top of the CN Tower on a 5ft ledge…116 storeys above ground! When the CN Tower was almost finished being built, hundreds of Toronto school kids got to sign their name on the top of the metal antenna before it was installed. Then a giant helicopter lifted the antenna into place, more than 1800m off the ground!

These days, there’s a big trend towards fancy handwriting for all kinds of things. For shop signs, weddings, or just for fun, there are all types of ways to be creative with handwritten letters and objects. Did you know Calligraphy and Brush Lettering aren’t the same thing, even though they may look similar? In technical terms, calligraphy refers to writing, while lettering refers to illustrating.
Ellen brought Apachita to one of her favorite paper stores called “Paper Plus Cloth” to learn all about Brush Lettering from Doris Wai of “Love Lettering”.
APACHITA is a 15-year-old Dene youth who lives in Toronto. She loves sushi, boxing and being with her family. She’s also a huge fan of amusement parks, and has been on all the roller coasters in Canada’s Wonderland… except one! Her dream is to do something that involves travelling and experiencing new places, and she dislikes selfish people, but believes everyone has their pros and cons!
